hi, i ‘m Vinita, a complete foodie at heart. I love to cook and love even more to eat and feed my loved ones. Basically from a South-Indian family(from Andhra pradesh) but having spent my child-hood in Gujarat and later part of my life in Maharashtra and Karnataka in India, my cooking too is inspired from different places I visited and different people I met. My mum is a wonderful cook, so there was no lack of inspiration. I keep getting ideas from traditional cooking of my mum and mother in law.
After few months of blogging(now), I realize that I absolutely love blogging about food, sharing thoughts over new techniques of easy & healthy cooking , taking pictures of food I cook and just having fun with food.
My husband is my biggest critic and the idea of blog was straight through his brain. He is henceforth addressed as Mr.V in my posts!
What to expect from my blog:
As ‘m lifelong vegetarian( include eggs) , my recipes will be vegetarian. My blog will be just reflection of my taste in food . I basically like quick, easy and healthy cooking. I hate long cooking times! Rarely indulge myself in for desserts, as ‘m not very fond of them(My husband loves desserts!) I definitely like spicy food. You may not find deep-fried food on my blog. I consider myself as non-fussy eater but i hate greasy food. Sometimes I like to modify even traditional recipes and always like to experiment with cooking and must admit some work and some do not. And yes I only post, which turns out to be good. Needless to say, I use cooking as my stress buster!
