I love snacking on healthy and yet tasty food. And who don’t want such snack! Many posts on my blog are on healthy snack recipes. The only trick is to have light and satisfying dinner! Recipes of snacks should be simple and easy.
There is no rocket science in this recipe. But it is just the reminder for simple snack recipe. It is one of the most popular snack on shopping streets in India! Sweet corn kernels are seasonal in India. Use this to your benefit as corn is full of fibre and fills your tummy without feeling heavy! Try this one if you have not tried it yet !
Serves 2 persons
2 cups sweet corn kernels
1 tsp butter
pinch of salt
little red chilly powder, pepper powder
Aamchur powder(dry mango powder) or lemon juice
t1 tbsp grated your favourite cheese( I used mozrella)
1 tbsp coriander leaves(chopped) or parsley
- Pressure cook sweet corn kernels till(3 whistles) they are soft.
- In a pan, heat butter. Add sweet corn, salt ,pepper powder, chilly powder, aamchur. Saute for a minute on high flame. Put off heat.
- Mix chopped coriander and garnish with grated cheese.
Tip: Add peppers, tomatoes or spinach in pan according to your choice.
