Crisp paneer with garlic and sesame flavour.

Best served as a starter.Cottage cheese is dipped in thin flour batter , coated with sesame seeds and roasted with with little oil in pan.

Feeds 2 persons

6 paneer pieces( cut in rectangular shape)
Refined flour(maida) 3tbsp
3/4 tsp red chilly powder
1 tsp garlic paste
1/4 tsp ginger paste
1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
salt to taste
1 tsp lime juice
3 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp oil

In a bowl, mix flour and halp cup of water.Now add chilly powder,garlic and ginger paste, cumin powder, pepper powder,salt and lime juice. Mix thoroughly so tat no lumps are formed

Adjust chilly powder according to your taste.

Take sesame seeds in flat plate.

Take a flat bottomes non stick pan. Heat oil in it.

Dip the paneer pieces in this batter and put it on sesame seeds and put in oil slowly.

Allow the tikkis to become brown on both sides.

Serve hot with tomato sauce or your favourite chutney.
